Halo Spacetime

چکیده
The newtonian potential that describes constant galactic rotation curves, which represent the speed of rotating stars and are independent of their distance from the centre, is φ = −v c ln(r). Substituting into Poisson’s equation gives density 4πGρ = −v c /r. The perfect fluid Einstein equations give the same result to lowest order, to next order terms in v c occur in the pressure and the density. The negative density indicates that dark matter does not exist.

Chaos and Taub-NUT related spacetimes
The occurrence of chaos for test particles moving in a Taub-NUT spacetime with a dipolar halo perturbation is studied using Poincaré sections. We find that the NUT parameter (magnetic mass) attenuates the presence of chaos. PACS numbers: 04.20.Jb, 04.70.Bw, 05.45.+b. متن کاملDark Matter from a gas of wormholes
The simplistic model of the classical spacetime foam is considered, which consists of static wormholes embedded in Minkowski spacetime. We explicitly demonstrate that such a foam structure leads to a topological bias of point-like sources which can equally be interpreted as the presence of a dark halo around any point source. It is shown that a non-trivial halo appears on scales where the topol...
متن کاملD–brane — Anti–D–brane Forces in Plane Wave Backgrounds: A Fall From Grace
We study the nature of the force between a D–brane and an anti-D–brane in the maximally supersymmetric plane wave background of type IIB superstring theory, which is equipped with a mass parameter μ. An early such study in flat spacetime (μ = 0) served to sharpen intuition about D–brane interactions, showing in particular the key role of the “stringy halo” that surrounds a D–brane. The halo mar...

متن کاملFoam-like structure of the Universe
On the quantum stage spacetime had the foam-like structure. When the Universe cools, the foam structure tempers and does not disappear. We show that effects caused by the foamed structure mimic very well the observed Dark Matter phenomena. Moreover, we show that in a foamed space photons undergo a chaotic scattering and together with every discrete source of radiation we should observe a diffus...
متن کاملSpacetimes admitting quasi-conformal curvature tensor
The object of the present paper is to study spacetimes admitting quasi-conformal curvature tensor. At first we prove that a quasi-conformally flat spacetime is Einstein and hence it is of constant curvature and the energy momentum tensor of such a spacetime satisfying Einstein's field equation with cosmological constant is covariant constant. Next, we prove that if the perfect flui...
